Before founding CreekWest in 2023, brothers Tylor and Mackenzie Nielsen spent years running a general contracting company in Calgary and the surrounding areas, and they completed over 1,500 projects in that time, from basement foundations to detached garages to full renovations.
That history means the trades, the suppliers, the lenders and the permit processes in Calgary are familiar ground rather than something we are figuring out on your build. It also means we saw the gaps in the homebuilding process from the inside, which is exactly why we started doing it differently.
Most of our current building happens in the communities northeast and east of Calgary, but if you own a lot in the city or you are weighing Calgary against somewhere with more room, that is a conversation worth having.
